Bboy Machine

Jeff ”Machine” Mccann grew up watching MTV, BET, Martial Arts movies, and cartoons like Transformers and GI Joe all of which influenced his dancing style and philosophy. He started learning how to Break on his own and later joined an after school program where he was able to practice with others. This was also where he picked up other elements of Hip Hop like Graffiti. Amidst the gang violence in his neighborhood, Jeff found a sanctuary where he can be free and express himself. He moved to the Midwest where he learned Popping, and came back to Sacramento in 1998. Jeff got into his first Breaking crew called ESK or Eskimo Crew. They met at their church, where Jeff learned and refined his technical power moves like Air Flaires and Flare 90s. It was here that he was named ”Machine.” Since then, Bboy Machine has won 1st place at Red Bull King of the Ring Toronto 2006, was voted Bboy of the Year 2005 on Freestylesession.com, and even won 1st place at Freestyle Session 13. He’s performed for the Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings, and Sacramento Monarchs. In December of 2006, Bboy Machine moved to Los Angeles and signed with Bloc Talent Agency. His industry career took off from there he’s worked with artists like Snoop Dogg, Missy Elliott, Sean Kingston, Ludacris, Chris Brown, the Waynes Brothers, Bruno Mars, Will.I.Am, as well as dancers like Krystal Meraz and Pharside of Academy of Villains, Hi Hat, the LXD, and on productions including the Blaze tour, Step Up movies, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing with the Stars, Glee, and CSI: NY.
