Jazz dancer, choreographer, and instructor, Laura Ann Smyth started dancing at the age of 4 at the Edmonton School of Ballet in Alberta, Canada. Since then, she?s danced for a variety of highly-acclaimed companies, including Regina Klenjoski Dance Company, Donna Sternberg and Dancers, JazzAntiqua Dance and Music Ensemble, and Brockus:RED. She’s crafted faculty dance concerts at Cornish College of the Arts, Santa Monica College, Long Beach City College, Golden West College and Loyola Marymount University, as well as choreographed for Pepperdine University and Loyola Marymount University. Known to many as a champion of social justice, Laura aims to celebrate diversity through dance and draw people together of all races, ethnicities, and cultures.
