Marie ”Poppins” Bonnevay first discovered Street Dance in her home country of France. She started training in Locking, Breaking, House, Waacking, Voguing and Choreography, but found her natural strength in Popping. Since here Popping career began, Marie has competed in several in Hip Hop International Las Vegas, Bboy Summit, Step Ya Game Up New York, Soul Session Norway, and Hipopsession France. She also joined Culture Shock LA, Style Elements Crew, and We Are Heroes for America?s Best Dance Crew. In the professional industry, Marie has worked with artists such as Madonna, Justin Bieber, Busta Rhymes, Ne-Yo, Celine Dion, Dj Tiesto, Rita Ora, KRS One, Snoop Dogg, Common, Ludacris. She was also cast in the movie STREETDANCE 2 and has starred in several commercials (Google, Microsoft, I Robot). As a choreographer, Marie has worked with Brandy, Kelly Rowland, and Dancing With The Stars. In search of a creative outlet she could truly call her own, Marie created the group Femme Fatale with fellow EmpireDance Studio instructors, Dassy lee and Lily Frias. The powerful dance trio performs for theatre shows, festivals and concerts around the world.
