Known for his animated, explosive style, Omar ”FireLock” Thomas is a traveling Locking judge, teacher, performer, and battler. He’s won Locking championships and awards all around the world, including Juste Debout, Hip Hop International, and the Don Campbellock Award. Having started his dance journey as a b-boy in 2000, FireLock began experimenting with Locking in 2003. He trained under Shock-a-Lock and Don “Campbellock” Campbell, and became a dancer on the Locking company, Lockism. FireLock takes pride in representing and passing on Don’s legacy, emphasizing his philosophy of “doing the Lock” but putting yourself in it.” FireLock empowers future generations of Lockers to find themselves through dance, without feeling pressured in the process!
