Popin Pete is a dancer, choreographer, teacher, and dance style pioneer from Fresno, California. Along with his older brother, ”Boogaloo” Sam Solomon, Pete was one of the first performers of Popping and Boogaloo. He was a member of the first-ever Popping crew, The Electric Boogaloos, with whom he appeared on many popular shows including The Midnight Special, Kicks, and Soul Train. Over the course of his professional career, Pete has also had the opportunity to work alongside some of this generation’s brightest and most talented music artists, including Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Mya, and The Black Eyed Peas. Today, whether he?s hosting dance events, judging battles, or spreading the knowledge through workshops and classes, you can always count on Popin Pete to share the knowledge and inspire the street style community.
