Ysabelle Capitule

Bay Area native Ysabelle Capitule started dancing Ballet, Jazz, and Hip Hop at 5 years old. When she was 8, she started dancing for the Golden State Warriors Kid’s Hip Hop team. She started flying down to LA to train with Tony Tzar, who became her mentor and Godfather. Ysabelle also traveled to train at conventions like Pulse and Monsters of Hip Hop. Later, Ysabelle signed with Bloc Talent Agency and danced for PBS Kids shows, the BET Awards, Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair” music video, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Just Dance video games. Ysabelle taught her first class at Chapkis Dance Academy when she was 15 years old. At 17, she went on her first international trip to teach in Russia. Her teaching career took off from there, and soon she was out of the country every weekend at camps like Fairplay Dance Camp, Urban Dance Camp, and at studios like Movement Lifestyle, Debbie Reyolds, and Millennium Dance Complex. Recently, Ysabelle danced in Bruno Mars and Cardi B’s “Finesse” music video and choreographed for Dyna Jane on New York Fashion Week.
